Phys. Therapy

We  have been given the tremendous opportunity to work with a team of physicians and rehabilitation specialists located in Southwest Haiti to bring rehabilitation services – physical therapy and prosthetic development/training – to the Haitian population.  Many Haitians have suffered amputations, spinal cord injuries, and other physically debilitating injuries — all of whom are in desperate need of physical therapy and rehabilitation services.

We will be spending much of April in Haiti, and I am reaching out to you for additional help.

One of the programs we will work with is Advantage Haiti.  Advantage Haiti (www.advantagehaiti.com) is sponsored by Lumière Ministries (LMM), a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, missionary personnel, supplies and equipment, and a regular rotation of  rehabilitation professionals who train and provide direct service in Haiti for varying periods of time.
Advantage Haiti needs financial assistance to purchase the equipment needed to provide Haitians with the rehabilitation equipment (prosthetic devices, walkers, crutches, etc).  Here is how you can help:

• $150 buys a kit for a below knee prosthetis
• $225 buys a kit for an above knee prosthetis
• $50 buys an ankle/foot brace

Any and all contributions will help provide Haitians with their rehabilitation care. All contributions are tax deductible.  Checks should be written to:
